Painted Ladies

Le “Painted Ladies” sono nude totalmente nude ed in posizioni ed atteggiamenti assolutamente espliciti. Al tempo stesso il colore monocromo che le ricopre spande una patina di irrealtà che, aumentata dal buio totale che le avvolge, le riduce a figurine plastiche, scultorine erotiche, bambole di gesso. Il colore non è dato in maniera uniforme. Alcune sono più materiche, altre più lucide. Come diversi sono le forme dei corpi. Gli oggetti a corredo sono minimi.Le corde od altri strumenti mi servono per aumentare la plasticità. Per sospendere, per allungare, per costringere. Alcune “Painted” hanno riferimenti ad animali reali o di fantasia, ottenuti ornando i corpi con piccoli attributi posticci.

The “Painted Ladies” are bare and totally naked, engaged in absolutely explicit attitudes. At the same time the poured monochrome color patina along with the darkness that surround them reduce the figures to plaster dolls or erotic little objects. Color is not given as uniform. Some figures are more textured, other more glossier depending on the different shapes of bodies involved. Supplied items are at the minimum. Ropes and other tools are needed to increase the plasticity. To hang, stretch and force. Some of the “Painted” refer to real or imaginary animals, obtained adorning their bodies with small false attributes.

Paint it Black è un progetto affine a Painted Ladies. Sui corpi di modelle di colore sono dipinte le linee geometriche ed astratte usate da alcune tribù della Patagonia.
